like, the Elric family could've attacked ANY OTHER DAY and it would've been fine. It's not like any of the remaining homunculi could force them back, if they all stuck together. Bradley's tough but not Hohenheim tough. Yeah he could almost definitely kill Ed and Al but capture? No, and killing them just causes even more problems
And as for Izumi, it's not like she was a state alchemist or even a well known one. Bradley met her like 4 months before the big day, and i don't think he even saw her do clap alchemy. And again, if she didn't GO to Central, it's not like she could find her. If she just stayed attacking random outposts, she'd be way safer
Was the whole plan to just force state alchemists like Roy to play a Gacha game? Cuz even if they get one or two(unlikely. the fact that Ed or Izumi didn't bleed out was a miracle and I kinda doubt Alex can survive losing his literal muscles) doing it just once nearly broke Pride in half, and he's like his daddy, if it cracks, he dies. Was the plan to just keep patching him up after every one? Because I don't think Daddy can do what Pride does or he probably would've done it.
