💛 happy pride, babes! 🏳️🌈 this year my outfit finally was as flamboyant as i truly feel and for the first time ever, i had a bi pride flag with me and things just felt right! the sun was out, people were so happy and so full of love. lots of glitter, lots of confetti, lots of laughter. 💖💜💙 ( also, i came out to my mother and sister in the most millennial way: via instagram! i’m terrified, i’m relieved, it’s quite something!)

So I am. Of course. Trans. I was born female but I am a male. I sadly am not out to anyone except my friends and tumblr but
One time I was in a gas station, and I walked in to use the restroom. Now normally, in this chain of gas stations, the women’s bathroom is on the right side of the store (if you’re looking at it from the front enterance) but in this certain one, it was on the left. So I walked in, didn’t look at the sign, and walked into the men’s bathroom then flipped out and turned around as fast as possible to leave. This man opens the door and goes “oh, well I’m glad this ain’t North Carolina” and let me out of the bathroom and? I thank whatever deity created this planet for that man not freaking out and/or hurting me that day. Considering I live in the south and LGBT+ isn’t as accepted down here ya know
This was also right after house bill 2 in NC was passed, so I could have really really been hurt. Idk i just wanted to tell a story about the time I could have been murdered in a gas station bathroom
