Preycapture is a highly influential pstreaming show, with a target audience of wild-living carnivorous monsters.
The backlog includes up to three entries (one from each host) for nearly every common monster and an array of rarer ones. Each entry scores the featured prey species on their deliciousness-to-risk-factor ratio, on a scale of zero to as many as fourteen "giblets" - usually delivered in the form of a quippy yet informationally dense monologue as the host tears into their kill.
So useful is this information for any monster to whom the jargon-filled bestiaries of scientists are not accessible, that the show has gained popularity in part by natural selection increasing the number of wild monsters that enjoy its particular brand of humor.
The show hosts are:
Cricut, an especially large roaming Annihilgator. Bulky and methodical, its focus on the defensive measures of its subjects makes it the go-to for monsters looking to learn how not to become prey themselves.
Rosette, a Mawoo. Rosette's embellished stories are widely considered the most entertaining of the three hosts. Some time ago, it encountered Cricut in the field, and was subsequently killed, eaten, and rated 3 giblets for psychoactive contaminants. Fortunately, Rosette had contributed enough entries by this point that its fanbase continues to grow.
Entwine, a modified Zokar belonging to a scientist's team (her scientist being a specialist in meat curing). She possesses cybernetic electroshock and cryonic arm attachments, and contributes a more culinary perspective as well as useful tips on vulnerabilities. She was also killed and eaten by Cricut in a special episode (receiving 4 giblets), but survived thanks to her team's revival tech.
