PILGRIM AND PEARL OYSTER BAR

Kelowna, BC – Kelowna welcomes, new Squirrel Systems site and the area’s first oyster bar, Pilgrim and Pearl in the Prestige Inn across from the Okanagan Lake. Named after the ‘Pilgrim Pearl,’ a rare pearl with a 500-year storied history that was famed for being given to Elizabeth Taylor by her then-husband Richard Burton for Valentine’s Day. The décor mirrors the beautiful pearl with its light wood and granite accented space.

The menu at Pilgrim and Pearl features ten varieties of oysters from Canada and around the world, giving experienced oyster eaters a great variety to choose from as well as providing some small or light flavored options for any first timers! They also offer a great selection of seafood, including lobster caught by good friends of the restaurant and fisher couple, Angus and Darlene. Pilgrim and Pearl is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We recommend stopping in for breakfast and trying their crab eggs benny or their Seafood Frittata, which is mixed seafood, fresh herbs, onions, potato latke on top of fresh arugula. Wash that all down with either their smoothie or juice of the day. 

For dinner, you can pick from two menus, from the sea or from the land. Can’t decide? They also offer a combination of both, like the Seafood Charcuterie Board, which includes Prawn & Pork Salami, Smoked Fish, Sugar Cured Scallop and Uni & Duck Liver Paté – all for only $18.00! Also try their trademark menu item, The Pearl with Prawns, Mussels, Clams, Ceviche, Tuna, Crab, Lobster and, of course, your pick of oysters!
