[ text - irene adler ] You could just text me instead of just appearing in my office. 

“That, love, depends on your definition of terrible. One might argue that it’s impossible to have a terrible night if you have as much freedom and money as I have.” He grinned in the direction of the woman for a second or two, then took a step closer as she apparently accepted the invitation of starting a conversation. “Perhaps I shouldn’t have used the word better, but rather more interesting. Being in the presence of Irene Adler must have some type of effect on my night. How could it not?”

The Doctor had just landed the TARDIS after having set the randomizer and was walking down the street exploring, wondering why the TARDIS would bring him there.  Soon enough however, his sonic screwdriver began to beep.  “Odd,” he thought as he followed towards what he believed to be an alien signal.  He wasn’t paying any attention when he accidentally bumped into someone.  "My apologies,“ he told the other, offering a hand to help them up, “I should have been paying more attention.”  The alien signal then vanished as he helped the other up and the Doctor knew he wanted to investigate more.  He needed an excuse to stay in the area.

      “UH-- sorry. That’s my fault. I should come             with a flashing neon WARNING LABEL.”

      Sherlock’s brows arch slightly at Irene’s latest text; a simple ‘See you soon, Mr Holmes’ that has him pausing for a moment as he eyes his screen. He presses his lips together, slipping his phone back into his pocket as he steps through to the kitchen to make a pot of tea.
