SHE HAD WALKED IN SLOWLY,   ignoring the woman that was so aggressively yelling across the room.   she had known her in what felt like lifetimes before,   but had chosen to forget her life led by her father.   then,    her pupils grazed her fingers,   hips swayed to the side as her attitude was obvious.   she didn’t want to be there, to say the least,   but peter had dragged her along.   apparently he couldn’t fight his own battles.

❝    you know,   there aren’t a lot of powerful woman in the galaxy.     at least i’m satisfied knowing the fact that i dress better than you.     ❞    a shrug, and finally her hues landed on the impassioned woman. 

“Your footwork is sloppy. One more step ahead and I could knock you over just like that. You might want to work on that.”

FIGHT ME 1 V 1 STARK

   “I know to whom you hail. You’re a known warrior with an even more known weapon at your side...Daughter of Thanos.” 

𝗦𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗥𝗥 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗫𝗜𝗠𝗔.

despite gamora being known as thanos’ favourite, she held no candle to the flame that was proxima midnight. her loyalty seemed to have been unwavering, but then again... she’d thought the same about nebula. about herself. perhaps,  she shouldn’t have dismissed proxima for just another slave of thanos, but she had. needless to say, seeing her here... on earth, was... going to need a moment or so to process. 

teeth finding her bottom lip, gamora toyed with the inside of it for a moment, unsure on how to approach her. things were different, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁.  she’d not seen prox since she’d left all those years ago, had not the smallest of an idea on how unkind thanos had been to her since. sighing, she decided to take the bull by the horns, as peter had said once.   “ my condolences for corvus, sister. ”  she knew what it felt like to mourn, to hurt and not be able to fill the void.  “  there truly is only so much we can take.  ”
