She chuckled as she looked over the patient’s chart: Boe Montgomery age 44. “How about we start with why you came in today and we work our way up from there?”

A hand fell against her stomach as it growled. An ache shivered within her before she cast a look towards the snickering Boe. “I thought honeybuns didn’t go out of date. If I get sick, will you hold my hair back?”

              if anything kept her afloat in the weeks, and months following her husband’s death, it was her lovable goofball of a toddler. while it was sometimes a lot for one person to maintain such a high energy child, she wouldn’t trade her daughter for anything. even in her more high spirited moods. today, it was her running off after a butterfly — giggling the whole way as her mother desperately ran after her. ❛ casper! ❜ she slows to a halt, out of breath, scooping up her daughter as she babbled off to a stranger on the sidewalk. ❛ what has mummy told you about running off like that? ❜ it’s a gentle scolding, kissing the top of her daughter’s head before turning her gaze apologetically to the stranger, a shy smile in place. ❛ i am...so sorry, mate. was she bothering you? ❜ // @prayingfxryou!

    “  we meet again.  ” she offers him a toothy grin. “  you are...wait--wait..  ” elizabeth can’t help the small laugh that escapes her as she looks up at him. “  your name is Boe. see, i remembered.  ” she brought an index finger up to tap her temple. “  our last meeting was...awkward but uh..  ” she clears her throat with a small smile. “  let me buy you a drink, to make up for that...experience.  ”

there was a brief moment of silence from her, dark hues blinking a few times at him before she inhaled deeply.   ❝ ------  okay, i do admit that was my fault, but THIS is not my fault.  it’s all yours.  so don’t blame me for this when i had nothing to do with it. ❞   she stated, soon folding her arms over her chest, dark hues narrowing at the older male.

fastening   the   strap   upon   her   chest,   she   directs   the   path   with   a   single   finger   point.    ❛   once you pass the first light, turn left.   ❜     

“of course i’m ASSIGNED to go on a run with you of all people.”  she was already cursing negan’s entire existence under her breath, at least she could TOLERATE simon.  this guy was a whole different story, one that she wanted absolutely nothing to do with.  “if you try anything, i’ll put a bullet in your skull, i’m still your fucking superior.”
