PRAYINGFXRYOU! // BOE MONTEGOMERY.
Boe isn’t sure what to do when a silence falls over them. They had the shared fact that they had both lost a spouse, but hers seems not by fate, but by something darker. He isn’t going to push though because no one had pushed him after his wife had died and he greatly appreciated it. He got to mourn in his own way and in his own time. There was nothing else more that he could have wanted. The only difference was he and his wife hadn’t had a child. Andrina’s case was worse because of that. He didn’t have to explain to a toddler why their other parent wasn’t there. Looking at her, he sighed softly and then offered a small smile. “I’m sorry,” he said, keeping his voice down to not wake the child.
andrina immediately feels guilty. for making him think that her silence or her sadness was his fault - that he had somehow did something wrong, to put her on edge. even if she didn’t do it INTENTIONALLY. right now, boe was really her only friend. she had isolated herself after ash died. unsure of who to trust, who had connections to the dark lord, to the people that took her husband from her, took away her child’s father. relationships that had been held before were strained. as such, she had began to care for him, and she had upset him by being so...vague. that wasn’t right. the widow moves to kneel beside his chair, both hands moving to take one of his. ❛ you don’t need to apologize...it isn’t your fault. i should be sorry. i shouldn’t have been so vague. ❜
