Whether in substance or potential. In Christ, giftings differ. Some are seen, others may not but they are all conditioned for the success of God’s work. It is amazing to know that the comfort in our homes has snared many into sicknesses, diseases and strange happenings. One will be on fire for God until marriage sets in. There may be no longer regular prayers and many excuses towards spiritual activities. Fasting becomes a taboo. The devil is very smart and is luring many into “so called” marriages just to deny them of power and anointing. Honestly, people think marriage is for rest and comfort. Some relax and would not want to embark on any spiritual exercise. Yes, of course, marriage is good but we cannot be ignorant about the fact that marriage does not take us from or end our battles as Christians. In fact, not wrestling with flesh and blood is not limited to singlehood but rather battles are increased after marriage. This is because both backgrounds come into play. I learnt people are advised to marry from good backgrounds but there is none under the sun. Jesus Himself encountered the oil of God according to Isaiah 61. Bible talks about a yoke being broken by reason of the anointing. ”Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.” As believers, oil is needed to do exploits to become established and for protection. There’s an urgent need for the oil to do something in life. The oil could be your potential;your skills. According to the scripture above, the 10 virgins we’re described as foolish and wise based on the oil they carried. Foolishness cannot be attributed to Christians but the ungodly because Christ has made us wise in everything. At the arrival of the Bridegroom at midnight, the foolish realized they lacked enough oil. They therefore went to the wise to share their oil with them. Folks, a shared oil is an incomplete oil. This incomplete oil, leads to non-achievement. There’s a demand on your oil at midnight. You can’t afford to sleep. Unfriendly friends, coworkers are sharing your oil and glory with you spiritually.
