Whether in substance or potential. In Christ, giftings differ. Some are seen, others may not but they are all conditioned for the success of God’s work. You can’t assume to have a gift or potential; it can be disastrous. I see a lot operate as prophets yet they can do better in teaching. The question remains... what do you have? Your greatness is about dwelling on what you have and maintaining focus. I hardly come around people who discourage but encourage despite shortcomings. God asked Moses,”What do you have in your hands?”. Moses said, “The rod.” God said, “ Stretch the rod over the sea”. He always wants us to stretch with what we have. In other words, go beyond the normal. When others are doing a two-day fast, challenge yourself to do five days. The three lepers depended on their feet and God echoed their footsteps to bring change into their lives. Elisha had nothing but a mantle to strike the waters for a way out.
