Transmutation. A triptych that explores notions of emotional darkness transitioning to a lighter state. Copper sacs, hammered from sheet metal, envelop copper electroformed carved wax elements inset with gemstones. The forms are wall hung with fabricated stainless steel nails. This piece is in @prattfinearts 40th Anniversary exhibit at @bellevueartsmuseum opening to the public tomorrow.
