3 “master studies” by Albert Bierstadts ( on the left), Ivan Aivasovski (  on the right) and  Arthur Hacker ( at the bottom)  focusing on values and shape.

Each of them took me about 10 minutes to complete with a limited palette and a regular soft brush.

I have quite the habit of listening to an art related podcast when practising drawing. I highly recommend Noah Bradley´s Art Camp video on Youtube as he gives great advice on studying  masterpieces!!

If you want to try that method of learning out , choose very very old but skilled painters :D I promise,you will improve no matter how good or bad you are :D
