My #PowerAirFryerXL (second pic) that i was gifted just randomly stopped working after a few uses (like the reviews say) and i contacted @officialpowerxl directly. They told me to cut my power cord and they would send me a replacement. They ignored me, and after some time of publicly tweeting them they eventually sent me a replacement. This is what they sent me: The Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 Xl. It’s an upgraded version, they no longer make the other (yet it’s still being sold #BuyerBeware!). I requested the XL because the regular one had less Wattage than the one that (was bought through QVC) just stopped working. I’m expecting it to work just as good or better than the previous one. . . In the time it took to get a replacement i bought a @ninjakitchen foodi grill (not the smart one) it’s not exactly the same as this but I can’t dehydrate much in it bc it’s only one layer. . . The way the chips fell, I’m getting the opportunity to try them side by side, literally and I’m excited to see how they perform against eachother. I only hope this oven doesn’t just stop working, as the reviews I’m seeing say the same thing. I’m hoping those are just people still angry from the previous model, who maybe confused the names, since they’re so similar. . . It took a lot for me to reach out to #PowerXl directly but i didn’t want to be out an oven or to have the original grifters’ money to be wasted, period. I don’t think they should be able to sell the ovens that stop working, that they no longer make. They need to do a voluntary recall; they know they’re defective! . . Had enough incentives from #Kohls to compel me to add an #AirFryer to the cooking arsenal. Went simple & inexpensive for the first cook (fish & chips), and I’m pleased with the results. The only oil I used was an avocado spray I’ve used for a bit. That’s a delicious Argentinian Chardonnay from Catena Zapata in the glass.
