#power-con

Last week I was at Power-Con. I was utterly amazing. Unfortunately, I’ve been sick since then, still am and now my daughter is also sick, hence no recap of any kind. I want to make a video (or a few) about the weekend and still need to finish my column for the Grand Geek Gathering. However, as I said, I have been really sick this week, and being sick with a two year old, who is now herself sick is among the great challenges of my otherwise unspectacular life. 

For now, I won’t go into great detail, but I wanted to briefly touch on a life changing meeting. I meet Mark Taylor. For those of you not familiar with the creation of He-Man, Mark is one of two people credited with creating He-Man. He is, however, without a doubt, the designer of He-Man (and I beleive all of his enemies and allies). 

I hope to stay in touch with Mark and his wife the brilliant and talented Rebecca, but even if I don’t it will remain an encounter I cherish for the rest of my life. For me, it is on par with meeting Ray Bradbury. To make things better Mark also had an awesome Ray Bradbury story. However, that’s all content for another article and/or a video. For now enjoy some pictures from the He-Man Sketch book I bought from Mark. He even personalized a few to my daughters, myself and some friends.

Power-Con postponed until 2021 – Online experience to be announced soon for 2020

We knew it was coming as all conventions for the remainder of 2020 have been canceled or rescheduled, but now we have the official word that Power-Con is postponed until Fall 2021.   See the details below:
