im rewatching s2 with my parents bc theyre watching the show for the first time and i knew there was a difference in how they wrote buddie in s2 & s3 but now watching s2 so soon after finishing s3 its so APPARENT?? like the change in tone and intent w their scenes in s3 comparing to s2 is so clear to me and its one of the things that make me so Sure that they plan to make buddie canon. this isnt really a question but i wanted to get this out ok bye

Listen, @himbo-buckley (yes, her again. y’all know how it is already) and I have a theory that Eddie was ready to get it with Buck from the moment he saw him and was openly flirting the whole time (like, come one, the gym scene? that boy was testing the waters), but Buck being oblivious as he is, never noticed.

For season 3, Eddie changed his approach and made it emotional. So now they started having family time, Eddie trusting him with Chris, Buck being more involved in Eddie and and Chris’s lives.

That’s how Eddie is slowly, possibly even unconsciously, trying to show Buck how he wants him (emotionally and physically, ahem).

So, yes definitely the tone of their scenes changed a lot and it’s amazingly intimate and if they don’t do something about it, I will go to Tim’s house and fight him myself.
