I always think it’s useful and interesting to see people’s process on how they create a piece.

Watching someone do, then undo, then do again, then fix because it’s wrong, and so on is always of some comfort to me. I feel less alone when I’m struggling on with something.

To that end, here’s a quick and dirty process of my latest portrait of Mitch and all the ugly that comes with trying to complete it:

Tater: why there almost as many stories about me and rat Parson as me and Zimmboni??? 😡😡😡

Jack: where do you keep finding these. why do you keep sending them to me.

Tater: we need more stories of us, I’m not liking how close the numbers are.

Snowy: On it.

Jack: on what??

Jack: please don’t be???
