A friend asked me to show them how I tag my books & this is the example I showed them (esp since they're finishing it right now)! Ahaha π₯Ί

Don't @ me
I will go down in my grave with the fact that I show up TWICE when you Google "angie knight vicious" thank you. This is my legacy, to make her KNOWN and REMEMBERED, and damn it I love her!!!
me to me rn π«£πΆ
I don't really view myself as desirable, so two people openly admitting their interest in me within 2 months is kind of alarming and confusing.

hi to all my writing/bookish friends. I dropped off the face of the earth due to depression, work, and leaping into a fandom. I am back to writing. . . Just not fic or my original works. RIP
A place for bookish things
So! I made a thing! ππ
In my memories from 2017, were these photos and a very long post with my rambling about how much these books meant to me (it was just a big appreciation post & @lbardugo was to be in my area 2 days before my birthday but I couldn't go). Guess what? They still mean A LOT to me. I even have a tattoo of 6 crows and the words "IF YOU CANT BEAT THE ODDS - CHANGE THE GAME" along my arm. These books taught me a lot about finding myself/somewhere to belong, having hope, conquering fear, that nothing is decided, and that I have the power to change the game so that I CAN beat the odds. Each and every character has touched me in a way that I am truly grateful for.
Alina taught me to be brave, and that I am stronger than I may be/feel in this moment.
Genya taught me that I am clever, and always beautiful.
Zoya, though I never fancied her as much, taught me to be fierce and powerful.
Nina taught me to love myself and that I am always capable of so much more.
Inej taught me patience, and that the gift of trust and friendship is as powerful as any blade or armor.
Kaz inspired me be more guarded, to be dedicated to an outcome, to construct better schemes plans and have people I can truly count on.
Nikolai taught me how to be brave, to be one step ahead, to be charismatic enough to keep going β to hide my fears, to put on a smile, to only let them see what I want them to. That I can be the change that I want to see.
Do these books have their flaws? Absolutely. But I will forever, be absolutely eternally grateful for the characters here and those not listed; for the world they've brought forth for me to escape into and for every moment of pain and bliss they've evoked.
None of this is said in any perfect and pretty wording. I'm emotional for no reason out of nowhere. But here it is anyway. Take my heart and skewer it.
Thank you, as I stand here crying about them, excited for THE LIVES OF SAINTS and RULE OF WOLVES.
