first of all, I don't think anything like that has ever happened in media before, or if it ever will. Like, okay. Imagine you are a weekly anime, and have a time loop arc where you want to give a sense for how many loops there are. In the original book, it takes up maybe 100 or so pages. Do you:

Compress that into a few episodes, enough to give a sense of what's going on but to not take up too much of your runtime

Have them air the same episode for a few weeks to make the viewer also experience the sense of time loop, giving your animation team more time but possibly risking people tune out
