Christmas Day is soon upon us, and I've been busy to the bone celebrating - but, really, today's post feels like one that speaks for itself althesame. Amidst all the celebration and festivities of Season 1's finale, it may be easy to forget one of its biggest highlights in the shuffle - in a way, Stone Halation was the culmination of a series of jokes nine months in the making.
While Season 1 of SiIvaGunner certainly had a lot of things to say at once, there's one piece of it that can be traced back as the instigator of it all - Snow Halation's introduction and frequent usage of the channel. In those early days, there was a subset of the community that vocally despised all things anime related - and dislike-bombed all rips with even a hint of halating. It was this one, sole subset of the community, that placed the first domino piece that would eventually spiral into The Reboot - and officially establish the SiIvaGunner channel as one with an ongoing story, to this day.
To that end, Stone Halation felt like the most befitting end that the Season could have - a marriage of the Funny Flintstones that came to create the channel, and the theme that cemented the channel's legendary status. The hate for Snow Halation had effectively subsided since The Reboot, which left us all to celebrate this reunion, a showcase of just how far both the channel and we as a community had gotten within just nine months time. Thanks to the team of recruited vocalists, that celebration was more than just symbolical - it was a sincere, excellent performance, that had us enamored all those years ago. Or at least, I vividly remember just how much it got me.
Yet, for as much as Stone Halation means to me...it's but a piece of SiIvaGunner's true Christmas power. And I've got something even better planned for tomorrow, just you wait... :)

A song Lily made, to which Badmin added a hip-hop track to, which we rapped over. NO ONE ASKED FOR IT. We all just jumped on an original piano piece by Lily LOL <3
