The Trollhunters gang walks into the house, Jim sits on the couch with an aggravated sigh. “Look I’m sorry..” Rick puts his bag on the ground next to the stair case.

“SORRY, won’t make up for the mess you just made.” Jim snarled aggressively. Rick flinched. “Why would you do something like that!” He yelled.

Claire grabbed his arm “Jim.. calm down.. we can fix this.”

“NOT IF SOMEONE DIES!!!” He shakes her arm off and stands. He walks over to Rick, looming over him. He bends down to be at face level “you’re done.” He growls.

“W-what?” Rick makes eye contact with Jim.

Jim stands straight still looking down at him with a stern expression. “You heard me.. you’re done.” Jim puts his hand on the bridge of his nose sighing.

“L-listen I know I made a mistake bu-”

“MISTAKE!? THAT WAS A DISASTER!!!” Jim roared making Rick flinch again.

“I-I can fix it.. I can fix it.” Rick held back tears, a tight knot in his throat.

“No, you’re done.” Jim turns away from him, “You’re going home.”

Rick clenched his fists, “Fine…” he mutters.

Jim turned around in a bit of a shock expecting an argument like usual from his younger brother.

“I can go… but I can’t go home…”

“Why is that?” Claire asks, much more gentle than Jim.

“I don’t have one anymore.” He looks away wiping his tears away with his sleeve.

“Don’t you live with your grandma?” Claire gave a confused look.

“Yeah, there’s nothing wrong with living with your grandma.” Toby smiled comfortingly.

“You wonder why I’ve stuck around here for a while?” Rick looks at the floor his fists clenching tighter.

They all stayed quiet, listening.

“SHE’S DEAD!” He yells looking at them angrily. More tears falling from his eyes.

Claire gasped quietly. Jim’s face loosened as some guilt ran over him.

“And what about my parents? My actual parents? They don’t love me, they never loved me.” Rick’s voice shook. Claire wanted to say something to counter that, but he started again, “You all at least have someone, Jim has his mom, Toby’s got his grandma, and Claire’s got both her parents even if they aren’t around much they’re still there.” Rick looks down, “while I got Jim’s dead beat dad and a slut who sleeps with different men every night.” He gives an angry look at Jim. “I alway asked for them to spend time with me but they always said they were busy… guess what happened when I asked them to much… GUESS!!” He yells. Everyone flinches from the unexpected loud noise. “They sent me here…” he bites his bottom lip trying to keep from sobbing. “While Jim has his purpose as some troll hero…. I’m struggling just to be noticed by my own parents… how fucked up is that?” Rick picks up his bag, “I won’t bother you again, and don’t give me your pity.” He walks out the door closing it gently.

Claire looked at Jim “Why did you do that?” She was clearly upset. “He’s just a kid, you made plenty of mistakes, some very big mistakes.” Claire glared at him “You had no right to treat him like that.”

“Yeah man… I mean I get you’re angry but… that was just harsh…” Toby gave a disappointed look to Jim.

Jim looked at the door and sighed.
