Robby is one of the few that is like an instant no.

I said from the start from season 2 the only person I shipped robby with was a therapist.

Enter Caleb Jefferson. Lol

But Robby perhaps developing a bit of a totally inappropriate thing with Mel... I don't see Mel ever seeing Robby like that

But am I pro Frank being completely insane thinking Robby is thinking thoughts - and he totally knew what when down with Robby and Collins.

Oh Frank would be so fucking mad and not even just as a jealous guy. As her friend and maybe even as his friend.

Mel is a kind decent person who will do everything she can to help you. And you still really aren't helping yourself. She is my friend and I won't let you let her set herself on fire to keep you warm. Back the fuck off.

And with Mel he's make it clear that it's a bad idea. Even suggesting she talks to Collins. He'll have her back no matter what but he won't touch whatever she chooses with Robby. He's hardly one to judge but he's seen Robby at his worst and his best... Mel deserves someone who takes care of her. Carries things with her. Robby will only add to it.

Frank keeps himself out of it. Walks away hoping he hasn't said too much but he can't do it. If they ignore him and his heartbroken so be it. But he's stood his ground without adding to either of them.

What comes of that I have no idea.

Mel’s never had big family gatherings for the holidays. Even when her parents were alive it was just the four of them. But Frank’s got a huge family. He’s one of five siblings. Plus Abby and the kids. When Mel’s invited over for the big holiday party as a friend her cheeks heat with embarrassment when she gets overwhelmed by all the noise. They’re so natural together: warm, affectionate.

“You can head up to my old room,” Frank offers. It’s his childhood bedroom. There’s a twin with a patterned quilt.

Mel presses her face into his pillow and cries. She hopes her eyes won’t be red when she comes back down. She doesn’t want Frank or Abby to clock her distress.

There’s a place for Mel at the table downstairs. She can only hope that there could be space for her in Frank’s heart too. Unfortunately, it’s currently occupied by another woman.

Soooo, ya know that one scene in the pilot, around 15:30, where Mel asks Ken if he's proud of her, that reminded me of that one scene of the Sonic '06 Real-Time Fandub.

So yeah, here's that one Snapcube scene, but TGD style:

Ken: Mel?

Mel, turning around to look at him: What is it? What is it, dad?

Ken: I'm... almost proud of you.

I was putzing around starwars.com just now 😁 and happened to land on the entry for Phee's droid, MEL.

I used to think, "MEL-221...cool! It's like 221b Baker Street, and Phee solves ancient mysteries." 🕵🏾‍♀️ (Phee would slay in a deerstalker, btw.)

But according to this, she's not MEL-221 anymore. The droid we saw after "Entombed" is MEL-222, which makes me wonder:
