Last but not least my girly Lisa!!

She's fairly distant around her pokemon as most of them were given to her by Coil, which kind of tainted the relationship.

The exceptions are her Mimikyu and Lurantis- the Mimikyu was her brothers and is a source of companionship, and also a constant crushing reminder of grief and guilt that she she refuses to let go of. The Lurantis is from Taylor and eventually comes to represent something similar.

Lisa Garland and Maria Silent Hill should find each other, I think. Both monsters who are still people, both doomed by the narrative and by the men who abandoned them.

If we incorporate Born from a Wish into it, then we can see Maria as another sort of guiding spirit of the town. She's ultimately a kind person, even if her function isn't, and freed from James' influence we see that more because we're not seeing her through his eyes.

Maria set Ernest Baldwin's spirit free before she met James. After her painful duty was over and James killed her one way or another, there's no reason she she couldn't have once again found herself wandering those foggy streets. No reason why she couldn't find a hospital room that shouldn't be there or the frightened woman inside who is mostly terrified of what she has become. No reason at all why they couldn't walk out of there together, each granting the other the humanity that their stories never could.
