Changing prompt from candy to pastry. Because I don’t eat enough candy to know.

There was a single piece of pastry left on the plate. 

It was Mrs. Sakaki’s amazing puff pastry, exquisite and unmatched in taste. 

Sora and Dennis reached for the pastry at the same time. Dennis’s hand, however, landed first. 

“I was about to eat that,” Sora said, staring at Dennis with perfect, adorable, innocent shining puppy eyes. 

“Haha, what a coincidence,” Dennis laughed, “so was I! What are the odds eh?”

“I saved your life once,” Sora said, casually, giving Dennis a sideway glance. 

“What happened in Synchro stays in Synchro,” said Dennis, with an equally perfect grin. Any other day he’d have relented. But this is Mrs. Sakaki’s puff pastries. So all is no holds barred. 

“I’m younger,” Sora pulls out the youth card. 

“You should respect your elders, also, you had, like, 10, I had one,” Dennis said, holding the pastry up in the air, out of reach. 

“Wanna duel for it?” Sora’s eyes narrowed, slasher grin apparent. 

“Why not?” grinned Dennis gamely. 

“Um, Sora, Dennis, seriously?” Yuya glanced from right to left. 

“Bet’s on Sora,” chimed the older Kurosaki. 

“I second my brother,” nodded the younger. 

“I’ll take Dennis then,” said Kaito, “What? Someone has to.” 

“Dennis is so dead. Nobody mess with Sora when it comes to snacks,” Shingo commented sagely. 

“I can’t believe you guys are gambling,” said Yuzu. 

“No dueling in the kitchen! Take it outside, boys!” Shouted Youko, with an encouraging wink. 

“You know what, on second thought, I’m feeling rather generous-” was what Sora had begun to say. He didn’t get to finish his sentence. 

Yuri had sauntered over from his nest on the couch, yanked Dennis’s hand towards him, and ate the pastry off of Dennis’s hand. 

“Mm! Chocolate. Nice,” said Yuri, licking his lips. He then paused, as if he just noticed everyone else staring. He grinned and proceeded to lick the powdered sugar off of Dennis’s fingers, adding a soft bite to each one. 

“AHHHHHHHHH,” screamed a mortified Sora. Everyone else just collectively cringed. 

“…Don’t ever do this in public again,” said Dennis, flatly, yanking his hand back. 

“Do you two need a room?” Asked Yuya, who won’t look at either of them in the face. 

“THAT’S IT!” Shouted Sora, who’s duel disk already activated, “For that, you will pay! Duel!” 

“With pleasure,” grinned Yuri, who pulled out his duel disk as well.

-Akon cannot play any instruments (but he can read sheet music.) Well, actually he can play every single instrument that has ever existed, even going as far as to make the instruments no longer in use (but referred to in various artifacts)...but he can only play the song “wonderwall.”
