#poor advice

honestly i can’t remember really 😳😳 (why do i have such a bad memory it was literally six months ago oml)

i mean it wasn’t really that much of an endeavour i just… wrote something (love you a latte rip 😔) and posted it! like that’s really all you have to do! and then a few people liked it and then followed me and i started writing more things and then more people followed me which means more people see the things i post :) (and like them, hopefully lol)

i just wanted to start writing things after i read a lot of fics and thought hmm there is something specific that i want to read which doesn’t exist 😔 so i just made it myself instead

if you’re thinking abt setting up a writing blog then here are some tips (not that i think im an exemplary writing blog or anything like that i just thought it might help?? idk)

Never stop.

I've worked on songs for a long time and always had a feeling of "I can't do it anymore", cause I was looking for validation. When I stopped looking for validation and focused on what I needed at the time, it's when I sold my first one.

Writing advice from Stephen King:

3. Avoid adverbs. “The adverb is not your friend. Consider the sentence “He closed the door firmly.” It’s by no means a terrible sentence, but ask yourself if ‘firmly’ really has to be there. What about context? What about all the enlightening (not to say emotionally moving) prose which came before ‘He closed the door firmly’? Shouldn’t this tell us how he closed the door? And if the foregoing prose does tell us, then isn’t ‘firmly’ an extra word? Isn’t it redundant?”

4. Avoid adverbs, especially after “he said” and “she said.” “While to write adverbs is human, to write ‘he said’ or ‘she said’ is divine

Screw your advice, King! Here are some of the adverbs from the current draft of Homecoming ch. 6: effortlessly, decisively, nervously, irritably, reflectively, gently, impatiently, easily, sourly, smoothly, pleasantly, deliberately, successfully, briefly, suddenly, wolfishly, abruptly, purposefully, largely, slowly, unusually, mildly, inevitably, silently, fiercely, certainly, plainly, dryly.

Yes the cray person is back for those who missed me (I Know I’m too new to be missed, still i can hope but anyway). It’s midnight for all you night owls, whooo!! keep partying and for those who are looking to find sleep but can’t, holler at me if you need someone to talk to I’ll lend an ear (virtual ear that is) but if your looking to doing something to aid you in sleeping well... there’s two things you could do hold a lit candle and sit in your back yard watching the moon like your in a romantic movie O.0 (joke, don’t do that you’ll just look creepy to your neighbors, they might report you. I repeat do not do that). right back to the two things, one you could do something boring like watch a dull movie orrrrr.....you could do something fun and tire yourself out. My best bet is to watch some amazing show and join the dark side and become a night owl, recommendations well if you aren’t already Scandal people!!! you need some Olivia Pope in your life, Suits if your looking for some great eye Candy in some fine clothes and Supernatural if your all about the bromance syfy style.
