i mean who else would look after hinami all the time she’s just a baby… kaneki is busy working/getting tortured, touka is busy w school and work, koma and yoshimura and irimi are also working and errrr who else is left but yomo? he isn’t working all the time he only works when he works but when he isn’t working well he is just at anteiku right… so he can look after hinami

i am very fond of them both. i think yomo loves hinami like his own little baby and she loves him like her father. the only evidence is from when he carries her home after the thing with kureo mado and in the anime when they go to the mall together off-screen but listen

i just love maternal yomo and touka is too old to play and have fun but hinami is a very little baby to me she has had too many hardships she needs to crack the dolls out and listen to kids bop and she needs someone who can sit there and hang out w her…!

and yomo would totally be tolerant of whatever she wanted to do like she wants him to read to her? i mean he can try… she wants to play cards or a board game? as long as it isn’t too difficult… DOLLS because hinami is a BABY? yomo isn’t the most creative but he’d play along with her storylines (hi oomf cus we talked about this like 1 second ago)

hinami in the modern day and age (of 2019) would sit yomo down and say we need to watch videos and then put on a gacha life mini movie and make yomo read out the boy parts and she wouls laugh her head off and he’d be sitting there like 😐 just calmly reading even though it’s embarrassing the shit out of him

human au where yomo takes hinami to the park and pushes her on the swings and buys her ice cream.. oh my dear babies…

not to mention yomo would have the best chance of being hinami’s substitute parent considering he was close enough with ryouko to be familiar with her so he’d be familiar with her parenting style and so he can just copycat that. but also he is just a gentle parent because he is an angel because i love him

hinami wouldn’t let yomo read to her though bcos he’s too monotonous she’d make kaneki do that or maybe yoshimura now yoshimura would be the mvp of reading a story like eveyrone gets invested😭
