☀️👙💦First Date💦👙☀️
(Pro-hero!Shoto Todoroki x f!reader)
This piece is Week Five of my multi-fandom series
🌺Summer Lovin’🌺
Word Count: 1,041
Synopsis: You met number two pro-hero Shoto a couple of weeks back and now you’re on a first date at the pool.
The sun is blazing by the time Shoto arrives at the private pool on the rooftop of your building, out of sight from the public eye so that you two weren’t swarmed on the first date.
You had met Shoto by complete fate a couple of weeks ago. You were walking home in the rain from work, your hoodie pulled over your head, AirPods in, lost in your own little world when a seven-foot villain crash-landed in front of you, only for you to get saved by the number two hero in Japan. You’d made a bad joke amidst the chaos- he didn’t get it, and somehow by the end of it, he’d asked for your number.
And now you all were on your first date.
Shoto had a towel in one hand and his back over his shoulder, his eyes landing on you, laid back in a lounge chair, a pink towel under the frame of your body, as you tanned. The gate clicked as he walked inside the pool area, grabbing your attention, and he watched how you pulled your sunglasses on top of your head, revealing your pretty eyes.
You smiled brightly when your gaze met his, waving hello, “You made it! I’m so glad you made time in your schedule for this-“
Shoto watches as you ramble, moving to sit down beside you in a different lounger. He sits his bag down on the ground between your two seats, the towel neatly folded in his lap. He finds you interesting. The way you can just talk and joke without fear of being too much or weird. It reminds him a bit of Midoriya and how he mumbles when he gets hyper-focused on something.
“I make time for things that I find important.” He concludes when you finally pause in your ‘glad you made it!’ ramble.
His comment makes your cheeks flush, a soft laugh passing your plush lips. Your fingers gently tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear as you look over to the pool water, the sunshine glistening across it, a gentle breeze pushing a couple of floaties through the water.
“That’s a good trait to have.” You hum back before standing up, stretching, then slowly walking to the water. Shoto watched the way your muscles move under your supple skin, and his eyes lingered on the way your hips sway, ass barely covered by the fabric of your bikini bottoms as you sit on the edge of the pool.
- 💦 ☀️ 🍹-
The two of you swim together and talk- well, you talk. You do most of the talking, engaging in the way you ask questions to learn more about him. From what he likes to do in his free time and his favorite color, and you respond with answers of your own without him having to ask after you’ve heard his answers out. He always listens intently when you talk about your siblings and your childhood. He nods along to your stories and occasionally offers dry but funny, unexpected commentary that makes you laugh louder than you’d normally do.
And Shoto is positive it’s the prettiest sound he’s ever heard.
You’re playful and smiling when you splash him, playing in the water, and Shoto is enjoying himself far more than he originally thought he would when you suggested a pool date.
He thinks you’re attractive, but he’s being respectful, trying to be anyway. Occasionally, his eyes wander down to how a stray water drop travels down your neck, down into the hidden valley between your breast, and he’ll clear his throat and look away.
When the sunshine starts to fade down into the horizon and the sky becomes lit in pinks and oranges, he orders takeaway from some steakhouse to be delivered, and the two of you eat at a bistro table by the pool. Your hair is damp and tangled from swimming, his dual-colored strands sticking to his forehead.
“You know,” you start between bites of your dinner, glancing up to meet his gaze, “you’re like, way different than most people I hang out with.”
Shoto looks at you curiously, “different in what way?”
“You actually listen to me. And you’re like… solid. Calm. It’s really nice.”
He isn’t sure how to respond to that, sipping on his drink as he formulates a response that he feels is somewhat normal, thank god for all that PR training honestly. “You are very far from calm. But I like it.”
The sun eventually dips down below the horizon and the two of you decide to call it a night.
Shoto is a bit shocked when you tip toe to hug him, arms draping over his shoulders. He takes a moment, cautious as he finally hugs you back.
“I had such a nice time.” You murmur softly.
“Yeah, me too.” He says, pulling back and looking down at your pretty face, a soft smile on his own lips. “I’d like to do it again, if-?”
“Yes.” Your answer is out before he can even finish his question and his hands give your hips a soft squeeze as he chuckles a bit.
“Can I kiss you?” He asks, one hand coming up to brush damp strands of hair off your cheek and you swear you forget how to breathe for a moment before you nod in agreement.
He leans in, slow at first like he’s giving you the opportunity to change your mind and pull away before it happens, his lips pressing to yours in a soft, fluid motion. Shoto’s lips are a bit chapped from being in the sun all day, sliding against yours that have a layer of vanilla-mint chapstick.
The contact is tentative and warm. Not rushed in anyway, the kind of kiss that feels like the start of something good, wrapped in the fabric of something else that feels familiar like, the lyrics of an old favorite song that feel you with nostalgia. Like maybe your souls knew each other once before.
The kiss breaks, both of you pulling back, gazes caught on one another wearing quiet, matching smiles. There’s no need to say anything as a comfortable, warm silence surrounds you both, because that first kiss said everything.

Charlie and Mateo's Pool Date 💧
The next day, Charlie invited Mateo over to his place for a fun and flirty pool date. 💦
The longer Charlie and Mateo spent together, their connection just keeps getting stronger and stronger. 💞
The guys decided to splash around in the pool together. 💦
While drying off from their dip in the pool, Charlie just couldn't hold back any further and finally went in for the first kiss. 😘
Charlie and Mateo continued the date by lounging by the pool and picking selfies to share on social bunny. 📸
As the sun started to set, Charlie took Mateo to the backyard for more privacy in the hot tub. 🫧
It didn't take long before things started to heat up between the guys, but this time... Mateo took the lead. ❤️🔥
The guys kept the passion going on and on... 🔥🔥
I might be risking it all with these screenshots and they might be a bit "too hot" for Tumblr. Bwahaha! 😂🤣

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Minsung Pool Date!!
I loved how they decided to stay at the hotel together instead of going to a gorgeous beach with the other members and then to Chan's house for dinner with his family.
And then how they kept talking about it, like I counted at least 5 times after the fact not including how Jisung talked about it on stage at both concert days.
I'm just speculating here and I'm completely aware I may be delulu (which I'm okay with) but that seemed like a really special event for them, for their relationship (whatever it may be - disclaimer for those Stays who I know will jump on here or elsewhere and scream quite loudly how they are "JUST FRIENDS"). I wonder if it was first time they could be alone together without cameras in their faces on tour?
No one can deny their bond, it is so BEAUTIFUL as friends, and soulmates and group mates. It is so pure that they have captivated fans from all over the world, who root for them. I find it fascinating how invested I am in their relationship, it surprises me as I have never been one for love...never really believed in it at its purest level.
I have been in love certainly, have had long relationships, I have friends who are married and have the best relationship, but I still never really bought into the soulmate thing... not until I discovered Stray Kids and watched these 8 super talented, gentle, kind, creative men grow up together and become super stars sharing their light with the world.
I've watched some baby Minsung videos and you can plainly see the two of them trying to figure it out, trying to understand the strong connection they have for each other. Especially Lee Know, imo. People will think I'm delulu for this, but I firmly believe that he courted Jisung in a way, maybe not romantically, but as solidifying a relationship with him. He bought Jisung presents of things he truly wanted, on Jisung's 18th birthday (I think it was his 18th, might have been 19th) he hand made Jisung coupons for meals that he could use at anytime. I mean...HOW EFFING SWEET IS THAT? And in their 2 Kids Show Jisung talked about Lee Know taking him out to eat A LOT as they were getting to know each other. If that's not courting, then I don't know what is...
Anyway, this post is so long...lol, but I really love seeing the two of them together, and I hope that if they are romantically involved (and for everyone out there, you can be romantically attracted to someone, and not sexually, love doesn't always lead to sex, but if they are sexually attracted to each other that's great too!) and that if they ever reveal it openly (although I think they are pretty open about it now, lol) I hope they are fully supported by every Stay.
shout out to Kopbeingkpop for all their awesome videos!!

One perk of dating a lifeguard at Hawkins Community Pool was free access to the pool after hours. Not that Eddie was much of a swimmer.
This summer had been too hot to handle, though, and after an afternoon jamming with Corroded Coffin where it felt like his skin was melting off, the idea of jumping into a cold pool (and Steve’s arms) was dream-worthy.
Eddie climbed the fence and hopped down, grinning like a fool when he saw Steve approaching him in his cute little lifeguard outfit.

The Billiards Date
Picture this: it's Saturday night, and you have a date with that good looking barista you’ve summed up the courage to finally ask out. You plan to go out for a drink, but you’re worried there won’t be enough to talk about, resulting in that dreaded awkward silence. What do you do? You cancel out of nervousness three hours before. Sound familiar? Well, I’m here today to talk about a great first date idea that provides protection to the awkward silence nightmare.
The Date
So what is it already? The answer is Billiards, or “pool” as its often referred as. Now what makes billiards such a great first date option? Well for starters its very similar to the bar, meaning its low key, involves drinks, and has plenty of time for great conversation. But what separates this from the bar is if the conversation does dies down for whatever reason, you have the game of billiards to fall back on. Confused? Let’s get into this.
Billiards is a simple enough game to play. You take turns trying to get balls into pockets essentially. Now, I'm not going to bore you with the rules of the game, but I am going to suggest a way to progress through the night. Grab a drink for each other, set up the balls and start playing! You can start off with small talk while each of you play your turn, comment on their amazing trick shot (or trick shot fail), and even talk about wants happening on the TV in the corner. Its great because billiards allows for you to just jump right into it. No need to try to think of something to say, because something will naturally come up as you play. For some reason, I find it much easier to talk to someone brand new while doing something at the same time, and I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking this. Better yet, you can take fun risk shots while the game progresses, and make fun of yourself in the process. Got a tricky shot coming up next? “Watch as a hit it behind my back with my eyes closed!” This breaks down awkward barriers, making both of you feel that much more comfortable. I suggest a 2-1 approach here. Have one full on conversation after every second billiard shot (each). Meaning, you take a shot, your date takes a shot, then you, then them, then you start a conversation about anything you want to know. After that conversation dies down, you move on to your next shot! Its a way to get to know your date really well, while limiting the awkward “stare-down” some experience while getting a drink at the bar. But what if you wanted to make billiards even more interesting?
Ball for a question
This is a super fun mini game you can do to guaranty the conversation keeps going on for a while. But before I get into it, I have to make sure you understand that winning the game absolutely does not matter! You're here to have fun and learn about your date, not destroy them with your pool skills (or lack thereof). So please, don't take this as a way to win the game. Now with that out of the way, this game idea is called “Ball for a Question” Every time your dates sinks a ball, they must answer a question of your choosing (and vice versa). This question could be absolutely anything, but must be answered honesty no matte what. If your date answers, then the game continues, however if your date choses not to answer, then you have to take one of their sunken balls outside of its pocket. Now hold on, before you think about all these dastardly questions you want to ask, know this: every question that is asked, gets redirected to the person who asked the initial question. Meaning, when you ask your date a question, regardless of if they answer or not, you must answer your own question as well. If you refuse, your ball gets taken out. And if you haven't sunken any yet, you miss a turn. Are you up for the challenge?
Wrap Up
Now, like all my date ideas, you absolutely don't have to do the mini game if you don't want to. Getting some drinks, playing pool and taking with your date would still make for a great first date experience! But if you're dying to know a little more about the other person, Ball for a Question is a great way to find out more about that special someone. Regardless of what you chose to do, billiards is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a fun and unique first date experience.
Remember, make every date a story.
