Jewel Nawab - Polyura delphis
Polyura delphis (Nymphalidae), better known as Jewel or Jewelled Nawab, and White Nawab, is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in India, Assam, Sikkim, Myanmar, Thailand, peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Sabah, Brunei, Kalimantan, Palawan and Java.
These butterflies are characterized by their distinctive wing shape with twin tails on the hindwings. They have dark brown uppersides with bands of dazzling creamy white; the underside is white, and marked with orange, yellow and grey spots and lunules, hence the common name Jewelled Nawab.
