The police has already stormed in the campus and made arrests on 18th Nov morning. Now they retreated outside. Police and the government said the protesters should leave as soon as possible or there will be force. However, if the students dare to go near the exit, the police fire tear gas. There is no way to leave.
At the same time, there are too many injuried inside and too few medical hands inside as the police arrested dozens of them yesterday night. The situation is worrisome.

Police armored vehicle equipped with LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device) arrived outside the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). LRAD could lead to permanent damage of auditory and loss of consciousness in severe cases.
They used it for 3 seconds to test the water, journalists felt discomfort.
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University is only one of the five universities the police attacked this week.

Hong Kong police are still surrounding the Poly U. The students and protesters cannot leave the campus. Food and medicine are limited. A Red Cross team of 14 professionals was allowed to get in the campus earlier today.
Hongkongers are on the neighbor streets and trying hard to break through the police cordon line so that the people inside the Poly U can leave.
