I'm going to get pepper sprayed. It is an unavoidable thing that will occur as part of job training, probably sometime in October.
I'll have a bucket of water to wash my face in and I won't be wearing contact lenses during this.
Does anybody have suggestions about how to prepare mentally/physically and dos and don'ts for after I've been sprayed? Preferably immediately after/short term.

Pepper spray looses potency and pressure over time. Make sure your pepper spray hasn't expired. If it has, replace it immediately.
