Honestly one of the most compelling arguments that swayed me in favor of polyamory is the fact that men who are truly above and beyond spectacular partners for women when it comes to things like buying/carrying menstrual products in case she needs them, doing an equitable share of domestic labor, enthusiastically providing generous oral satisfaction, taking an interest in her hobbies and passions even if they wouldn't otherwise appeal to him, talk about her to his friends without completely trashing her behind her back, and standing up to his family if they mistreat her are so few and far between that on some level it feels selfish for a woman to keep one of those men for herself and not at least offer to share him with her fellow women
