The US has banned government officials from having romantic or sexual relationships with Chinese citizens

AP News highlights that government officials as well as “family members and contractors with security clearances,” from having romantic and/or sexual relationships with Chinese citizens. The policy was put into effect by the U.S. Ambassador Nicholas Burns, as he was departing the position. AP News mentions “[t]hough some U.S. agencies already had strict rules on such relationships, a blanket “non-fraternization” policy, as it is known, has been unheard of publicly since the Cold War.” The policies will cover U.S. missions in mainland China, including the embassy in Beijing and consulates in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenyang and Wuhan, as well as the American consulate in the semi-autonomous territory of Hong Kong. Couples that were together before this policy may file for an exception, however if they fail to get an exception they must either end the relationship or quit their government job.

Protestors gathered together in DC and other cities to protest the Trump administration

These protests have been rallied under the “Hands Off Movement.” Reuters claims that “1,200 demonstrations” were held around the country “against President Donald Trump and his billionaire ally Elon Musk since they launched a rapid-fire effort to overhaul [the]government and expand presidential authority.” The protestors number in the thousands, “[s]ome carried Ukrainian flags and others wore Palestinian keffiyeh scarves and carried “Free Palestine” signs, while Democrats from the U.S. House of Representatives blasted Trump's policies on stage.”

Like YES i will openly and LOUDLY talk about feminism, war, history, religion, social standards, oppression, politics fuck really anything, even if people look at me weirdly or it makes them uncomfortable, I adore talking about any topic in class cause we SHOULD question our society. YES these SHOULD BE normal things to talk about but when I talk about how it people look at me like I'm crazy like huh... THESE SHOULD BE TALKED ABOUT WITHOUT TABOOS?! I have a voice, and, being especially a woman, I want to use that voice. I mean, we could barely vote 100 years ago. What the fuck. These women fought for my rights to education, to vote to just be allowed to live by life, and you fucking know I will not let their fight go to waste. People online will talk all they want but I don't see people talk louder outside the internet, as a autistic girl, I want the truth told and I don't understand society cause they got these fuckass rules that do nothing but oppressed minorities they LOVE controlll .

I have very "strong opinions" and studying subjects like advanced history, legal studies and psychology means I can also back up my claims with evidence. I ADORE DEBATING LIKE ONLINE OR IN REAL LIFE YES YES PLEASE

The lack of emotional depth for the people who surround your world is frightening, families are being torn apart in the United States due to President Donald Trump's policies, lineages are being forgotten in Palestine. Sudan, Congo, and Ukraine, and many more are in crisis and you are being a walking robot. We are witnessing a climate catastrophe that we are fueling. Wildfires every year in Canada, lasting longer, becoming more intense and contaminating the air as far as russia. Snowing in places where the thought of snow is out of this world. 

We are at the edge of extinction, and it is our fault. We can not blame an asteroid on this one.
