capitalism sells you dreams of luxury, freedom, a high-standard life, but that hope blinds you to the fact that everything it offers comes with a price tag, even your hopes and dreams. that indeed, is true meaning of capitalism.
for example, we want our governments to provide free or low-cost education, healthcare, and access to resources, we don't want to pay for it ourselves.
but someone has to pay for it, right? for schools, hospitals, and platforms to function, money has to come from somewhere. we just don’t want it to come from us, so we expect the government to pay.
and if the government pays, it partially owns the system. if it owns the system, what exactly are we striving for? that there is socialism.
but but but at the same time, i want capitalism, i want a silicon valley life, i don’t want to pay, but I want world-class facilities.
oh hi, I’m a half-baked unemployed bastard.
The real chaotic academia is Binge watching too many classes on economy and thinking how you can rule country better than the current govt.
I've been so lucky because I went to a book store and randomly found a book with a cool cover and turned out to be book 8 in a series that has so far been my favorite thing I've ever read!!!!!! Please read the polity series by Neal Asher and talk to me about them because they aren't very popular but they should be!!!!! If you like sci Fi and you like creatures and you like books then it's perfect for you!!!!!
