I have, but I don't think I can say the same about Leo. I got the chance to study them around 10-ish years ago, I think it was. I still have my notes and my field drawings of them. I’d be happy to show a few of them on request.

They don't really wander far from the Polar Sea, and I can say with certainty that I've never seen them outside of the area, aside from one incident with a smuggler, but that's a story for another time.

I was born in Moga, a fishing village. Whilst rare - I did see a few adult Pokaradon and Pokara occasionally sunning themselves at the docks or swimming out in the open water. But the reason why this was rare is that we had a high number of Lagiacrus in the area that would eat them.

Outside of journals and reports, never really studied them firsthand.

(Decided to group these two together for something. I think I’ve mentioned it in another ask before, but I’ll repeat it here to restablish that point. I consider Frontier a separate canon from the main series, think like Hyrule Warriors with Zelda for example. It was a perfectly fine game, don’t get me wrong, but it just doesn’t feel like a Monster Hunter game. I think this video here does a good example of explaining how I feel about it. They feel a lot stronger about the point than I do, but I agree with the basis of what they’re saying)

(That’s not to say I don’t enjoy some parts however. There are actually some monsters I would love to see in the main series, in a little bit more subdued manner. Espinas, Odibatorasu (who may actually be canon to the main series), Akura Vashimu, Pokaradon, Baruragaru and Inagami, to name a few.)
