🐬 - ocean or space?

poached time - they definitely prefer the ocean, although for different reasons. cheng xiaoshi finds it fun and loves playing in the water with their friends, while lu guang finds a certain melancholy in it. he finds a melancholy in space, too, but it’s much more removed from both of them. cheng xiaoshi used to be curious about the skies.

soulstice - N stays grounded for most days, so he’s never really thought of space outside of educational matters - he does find it fascinating, though. she definitely goes around the ocean often, if to just visit the pokemon there and gaze across life. prim isn’t particularly drawn to either — they do feel somewhat closer to space as this “out-of-world” thing, since they have no idea where they came from. but they usually follow N to the oceans and have calm days there.

🐙 - jewelry or stuffed animals as gifts?

poached time - occasionally, both of them get jewelry for qiao ling. honestly xiaoshi does want jewelry as well, sometimes, but she’s very shy about it. lu guang isn’t big on it. all of them LOVE plushies though, qiao ling included (even if she’s not in the ship, i’ve just been thinking a lot more about her recently), and would take them anyway.

soulstice - N isn’t inclined to either. they do think stuffed animals are amusing, though, and would definitely take one. prim would like the shininess and accessorizing of jewelry but doesn’t really care for the “value” of it, so they’d be likely to put nickel in their ears (yeowch). though they’d definitely cuddle a plushie, especially representing their litwick (since let’s be honest, litwick’s wax burns a bit too much… even for a demon).
