Miku [Plegia Mage]
dark songstress, put a hex on you
Me: I am normal about the internal political structure of nations on fire emblem Awakening.
Also me: Okay, so from the village dialogue in chapter 8, we know that despite Grima being the main deity of worship, average plegians don't seem to like the Grimleal. Implying that the Grimleal are either weirdo fundies that no one really likes but they have an out sized influence on the government or Plegia is polytheistic and they worship gods related to their occupation and Grima is the god you worship if you're a dark mage or you want their blessing in war (god of destruction and all). Awakening characters do say Gods (plural) when they sware, meaning that multiple gods are consistent with Archneaian theology. Chromâs father is stated to have labeled the Plegian people heathens likely because the Grimleal gained influence in whatever hierarchy rules Plegia. We know it's likely semi democratic because Gangrel supposedly worked his way up from being a street urchin to the position of king. Because it's stated to be a theocracy, it's likely similar to how catholics elected the pope via the collage of cardinals.
I painted the sketch I posted on my twit a couple days ago!:)
So hype!! đŠ
Given that the desert in plegia has to be artificial in nature for their to be any cohesive connectivity between the archanea setting and the ylisse setting, and given such environmental changes in fe [most notably with duma swampifying large portions of valentia] are typically attributable to the influence of a dragons power it raises the question of what happens to plegias environment following a timeline where grima is forever perma killed as opposed to just being sealed.
given the environment of valm as we see it, the implication is no plegia will eventually turn into no longer being a desert region given time, as the former swamp areas of valentia and the desertfied portions of zofia [which were due to milas own powers going haywire] both are presented as no longer being desertified in the valm period day [as far as we see anyways].
of course given that as far as I can tell chon'sin takes up the area where ram village used to be [their ancestral burial ground is the thieves shrine which is a hop skip away from ram village]... im almost tempted to say i want an awakening prequel set between grimas first and second awakenings just to get a better grasp on what the fuck happened.

Fire Emblem Awakening Mistletoe Headcanons
Here I am, back once again, sliiiiightly late as per potentially usual. The holidays are a busy time for anyone, after all, and I am not exception! Still, I hope you enjoy what I have in store. This yearâs set for Awakening follows Henry/Olivia, Tiki/Sayâri, Lissa/Ricken, Gaius/Maribelle, Cordelia/Sumia, Vaike/Chrom, Inigo/Gerome, and Tharja/F Robin.
Hopefully you like what you read, and you can find last yearâs here!
Henry/Olivia:
I feel like Henry absolutely employs the help of the crows to get Olivia under the mistletoe. The two of them are probably just having a nice winterâs dinner together when one of the crows flies over to land on Henryâs head. Olivia canât help but smile and coo at it, laughing at how much the crows love Henry and how close they are to him. Itâs only once Henry points out that thereâs something in the crowâs mouth that Olivia clues into whatâs actually happening. She blushes and asks Henry if heâs sure, to which he responds that he is, and that he wanted to do this in privacy for the sake of her shyness. Olivia is touched, and agrees to a nice kiss between the two of them. Henry is very gentle and careful with her, and he cannot help but appreciate the way she seems to melt into his embrace.
