Diego’s favorite Christmas movie is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I think all the Hargreeves would have adored it to certain degrees if they had seen it as children. Maybe he sees it for the first time with Eudora, with them having dated through a Christmas. He really relates to the feeling of being a misfit (and the dad issues and having to leave home). That the misfit saves the day and ends up praised and finding home really speaks to all his wants. He also finds the story of Clarice and Rudolph really cute, though he’d die before admitting it.
