Lichtenberg rant
So I was thinking about the lichtenberg scar Billy that was pretty popular a while ago. Basically, it was the idea that Billy had lichtenberg scars (scars one can get from being hit by lightning) as a physical reminder that he is Captain Marvel and the powers that come with it.
It is a really cool idea that I absolutely love, but I never found the concept that realistic with what we know about the powers of Shazam. Realistically, the stamina of atlas would kick in before the lightning would have any effect on Billy so a lichtenberg figure would be hard to form on the skin, certainly one that stays forever.
Well, it wouldn't exactly work realistically except for one.
and if you ever seen my blog, you will know exactly which one
That's right, Movie Billy would absolutely have lichtenberg scars after the event of Fury of the Gods.
I mean, look at the body. It's hard to see through the colour grading, the ash and the dirt, but the groves and decolourization is there. Honestly, the reason why his body is in this good of a state is because nobody in the right mind would show a mangled, burned up body of a canonically 17 year old.
The same lightning bomb that killed Billy vaporized Kalypso to pure ash BTW.
I don't care how good Diana's resurrection ability is. Billy's body is charred by lightning and that's not something you can magic away.
And I am not saying, give him a large Harry Potter ass scar on his face. But at least his torso and upper limbs something to show he went through hell and back
Am I cruel for suggesting that Billy should be physically scared alongside mentally, maybe? But is it a cool visual reminder of his sacrifice, yes and I am not taking any criticism.
I'm gonna keep torturing this poor boy and his family to death, and I'm gonna enjoy every single minute of it, gods dammit.
