Never pay over full price for an anime figure or collectable that has sat in storage and never been opened.
The seller hasnt seen any factory defects, has not tested the item if it has to be assembled, and worst of all if it has been a decade or some years plastic sometimes "rots" or is victim to a process known as plasticization. The item inside may very well be plasticized and no longer in good shape.
Sealed items are a trap and you better get your item opened, displayed, and well cared for because at least you know its in good shape.
And yeah so like a year ago I accidentally bought a sealed Space Dandy figure by accident from a shop I usually go to for used figures not noticing the label and overpaid for him to be difficult to put together because of a long storage time. Lesson fuckin learned! Read the description next time. I honestly hit the buy button on accident too but thats on me.
