This action is particularly effective for processing tough or flexible plastics that might slip away from a single rotor.
The size of the shredded output is determined by the spacing between the blades and the anvil (in single-rotor designs) or between the two rotors (in dual-rotor models). Adjusting this spacing allows operators to produce particles of different sizes, from coarse chunks suitable for certain recycling processes to finer flakes for more precise applications.
