Plastercine is full of endless possibilities. So cheap to buy - and perfect for a rainy day or a train journey. We stored these in a cleaned out take-away box.
The first 2 Plasticine models-
the model on the right shows my attempt of joining many triangles made by using Plasticine to form a 3D model. The model on the left aimed to show quadrilateral shapes made of Plasticine. However both models are made of shapes that are inaccurate because none of the shapes have straight sides and are distorted. So many will argue that the shapes seen here are not triangles and not quadrilaterals because the angles and sides are incorrect and have been distorted.
Even though the models are unsuccessful in representing shapes correctly, I still believe that I could develop bigger pieces using MDF. I could make these compositions out of MDF and be more successful because the wood is harder and would allow me to get hard edges.
