I’m going to post this publicly so that other people can get an insight to my own thoughts about this topic as a witch. 

I’m a bigger believe in “where attention goes, energy flows” right, and so for example I live in Cyprus, which like Greece is obsessed with Evil eyes and puts them everywhere. Babies cribs, houses, jewelry, the whole shabbang, but the way that I see it is, to put an amulet or cast protection, is to invite something to be protected from. I sort of put that program into the Universe for what I want. Just like the way if we believe that we must always fight for our survival in this life, or to be accepted, you will attract the later of experiences.

I hope that makes sense? 

Anyway, this is just my view, and I’m totally cool with witches who are into that kind of magick. I even made a protection oil over the weekend, that will be used in specific cases, but I feel the best way to protect yourself is shadow work, because then we know about the limited beliefs, subconscious programming that allows something into our lives.
