Vector prime is there a timeline where starscream surived the unicron battels ? And if yes then did he join the autobots did he stay with decepticons and how did it afect the later events in the timeline like energon and cybretron
There are many realities where Starscream survived the battles with Unicron, but I suspect you'd like to hear of one heretofore unseen in your world.
In one in particular, things transpired largely as you are familiar, until Unicron made his attack on a defiant Starscream. Overcome by shame at having been so blind—and perhaps feeling the remorse over his treatment of Starscream that had eluded his multidimensional counterparts—Galvatron intervened and threw himself in the path of the attack instead, sacrificing himself for Starscream and the Decepticons' further survival.
In the resulting timeline, the Autobot-Decepticon alliance was not so fleeting, and Galvatron never returned to instigate later conflicts. Starscream, having learned from his leader's past mistakes, took command of the Decepticons and allied them with the Autobots. They were victorious against Unicron, but rather than being defeated, the Chaos Bringer fled. He went on to be irreparably damaged in the destruction of Planet Q, and when Alpha Q's spark emerged, the combined Autobot-Decepticon alliance were more receptive to working with him in order to restore his system. Unicron never went on to become part of the Energon sun, and thus, the Black Hole never threatened the universe.
Things did not remain so idyllic forever, though. Many Decepticons did not want to set aside their warrior past, and splinter groups formed out from under Starscream's leadership. With conflict being stoked by the survivors of Planet X, a new war started—one that would eventually lead to Cybertron and its colonies reuniting.
