Your spidey senses are excellent, for this fic (or rather this series of fics) is being written with our beloved @dragongutsixofficial and my partner in crime @paracosmicat. Following the S5 finale, Felix and Adrien (who you probably gathered from my frantic posts haven’t exactly had the best childhood) learn to live with each other and with the people around them.
ONE OF WHICH. IS. THIS DUDE.
Adrien’s bodyguard, who literally never says a single word in the series. Most people don’t even know he apparently has a name, and refer to him as the Gorilla. He’s a sweet guy, but mostly here for comedic relief.
AND THEN DRAGON
Waltzs in and starts writing him like this:
“I guess it works both ways.” The warning was craftily occulted by a smile. “You have more people to watch over, but — they’re watching, too.”
“Mh.”
As much as Placide appreciated the warm words, he was responsible for protecting them all. He had failed to do so for much too long.
The thought of Felix, in particular, made his heart twinge from guilt. Like a distorting mirror, the boy’s presence was a constant reminder of what could have been: another child he would have watched suffer behind closed doors, and a reflection of who Adrien could have become.
Good thing he did not have to worry about him that afternoon, he figured, taking a left turn towards Place Vendôme.
HE IS SO SWEET AND CLUELESS AND HILARIOUS. BUT ALSO GRAPPLING WITH CRUSHING GUILT. It’s a fine line to walk and Dragon does it so well. We were all speechless. 💖🐉
Marinette Traumatized & Could Have Been Killed. Well since you hate Chloe, want to Cataclysm Kim (and somehow ignore the filmer Sabrina who loved the smoke).
Allow me to deride your wah I despise Chloe, I want Marinette protected from what isn't Sabrina or SockayLEAN (or shippers for Adrien and Marinette that's not Andre Glacier) or how you're like Kim had the rejection coming all of a sudden from messy Flashback etc. crap.

Marinette did the same thing. She could have killed Adrien and or mostly Kagami and herself. Different purpose similar outcome. Could have became a trauma causer (I guess again but whatever).
Funny thing. Hating Alya for being pushy for Adrienette and boundary disrespect.
Marinette doing that on Kagami who no longer is interested for the Kagadriemn she's forcing against her.
Girl straight up caused a distraction against Adrien's bodyguard just to sneak her and Kagami to a private session, ruining Adrien's session for shipping nonsense.
So do talk about Mr Pigeon 72 since you wish to be so concerned from Derision.
Notice how things ironically look worse on the protagonist end?
Scratch that, Ladybug is the PROANTAGONIST :)
