Awh this is so sweet! You have so much talent, I'm glad you have this outlet for it even when it's hard to get inspired for your other writing projects. I actually have a big writing project myself for a long story that I've had sitting around with notes and stuff for literal years that i might finally get back into... wish me luck! I hope you can find the inspiration to get back to writing your other stories because i would love to read those too someday!!

Hunter moved on fast

He did, that’s the beauty of story progression in sims, lol. But Violet did as well. Things have to move at a certain speed in sims otherwise they’ll all be elders by the time they get to the baby making :P. And I even have YA and adult on max!

I’m glad you’re happy haha! In all honesty the plot mainly exists in the way it does now because I wanted Violet to have babies from both Hunter and Davey lol.

I think she needs to consider that she's part of the problem. At no time did she tell Hunter that he needed to do more until she couldn't handle that he wasn't doing more than he was supposed to change overnight. She needs to grow up as much as he does. Yeah she works and makes money but she sure doesn't know how to communicate.

That’s definitely true! She just expected Hunter to read her mind, though Hunter also never took the trouble to properly talk to Violet about his own issues. In Sims they do need to change overnight though because time moves fast and I don’t want Violet to be an elder while her kids are still kids haha.

Hmmmm. I still think this was a rash decision. Not that his behavior is acceptable, but she's hormonal and emotional and she just made a very quick decision (again). She needs to learn to talk more and stop making snap decisions before she's even talked to people.

The decisions she made were rash from the start, but that’s also because of me because I wanted things to move along so that they wouldn’t be too old by the time they all settled permanently. Even though I slowed down story progression as much as possible, the town moved around at about the same pace as the story. Try to think of the years (which are 7 simdays) as real human years. So even though it’s just 7 simdays, convert them in your brain to 365 days. If you think of it like that, time and events in the story move at a more natural pace :). We started in the year 2238, we’re now in the year 2241! So 3 years have passed. Violet spent about a year finding a partner, a year living with him in peace and then another year where things went downhill and she broke up and moved on to Davey.
