Can safely say it has been a weekend of loss at #ChateauxdeAdminAlly this weekend. We lost sweet #TweedleDee on Friday, from what we can observe there were significant internal issues/damage that was not compatible with life. Today, I became aware that this sweet boy #KaiFatLad has reached the stage of palliative care were pain relief just doesn't cut it any more. Very soon my sweet boy will join #PiratePete and many other loved and missed rescue friends on that beautiful bridge. For those who have been seeking updates on TweedleDee, I needed to spend some time focussing on the animals remaining in my care before I was ready to share that loss. We knew it was likely but it hurt none the less. Being one of palliative and high care Rat Mum's for the rescue, this part of the journey is not unexpected. That never stops it hurting though.
