These days, what occupies me the most is the desire to create something that seems to be slowly vanishing from our world — our connection with nature in any of its forms.
I’m not talking about simply going out into nature, but about what it holds within: lingering, silence, the slow unfolding of our thoughts, perceiving reality as it is — without distortion.
I long for that state in which — not in a spiritual but in a physical sense — we can break free from the artificial world we live in, and which we are compelled to accept.
Like a shepherd with his flock, or a miller as the mill grinds.
