Found him in Pinterest, like the sneaky creature he is...
Has anyone noticed on Pinterest that whenever you save a pin, it dings?
A game snatched from @treshmind
See how well pinterest knows you! Search 'fashion', 'pantone', 'mood', and 'food'; and save the first photo that comes up!
...Lol. My pinterest is currently mostly filled with things relating to my longfic, so it checks out. I'm a bit surprised about the sensible chicken and rice, but not complaining.
No pressure tagging @tragedybunny @tallymonster @mj-bites @snowfolly and @jellymellydraws and anyone else that wants to do it (tag me if you do, I wanna see)
I foresee more blood red and purple.

Pinterest makes me lose my mind
It is absolutely ridiculous how Pinterest has changed. Between the AI moderation and the aggressive ad campaigns, the platform is barely tolerable. It's fine when you're just browsing, but the second you want to save a pin, everything goes wrong. Sometimes the pin to be is actually an add, and you suddenly get redirected to a sketchy website... Sometimes, the very normal and appropriate pin (I mean that seriously, this is not sarcasm) gets flagged as against guidelines and taken down. They word the reasoning as having been approved by a human, but when you appeal it and AN ACTUAL human looks at it, suddenly it is reinstated.
What is particularly angering, just now, is that I have had a pin removed from my transition goals board for SH, apparently. The board is mainly dudes with top surgery healed and living life, or just general pride stuff. Nothing ever inappropriate. The arguably most scandalous is just skimpily clad men. Except, again, it was taken down for SH and/or ideation. So, clearly it wasn't a dude in a mini skirt living life. I can only assume that it's a top surgery photo? I'm angry because there is always a chance that the AI saw scars at all and said "inappropriate!!!!!!!!" Which is ridiculous. A person should not be removed for simply having healed scars on their body.
There is also a chance that someone reported it just because they're transphobic. Which is even more disheartening.
I appealed the decision, so all I can do now is wait and hope they have some sense about them. Hopefully it's something that I overlooked, like a vent art someone did and I didn't remember saving. Though to be honest, I don't save those, but weirder things have happened.
Pinterest is seriously going to go out of business at this rate. I hate how their solution to losing profits is to make the platform more and more unusable. Fuck AI, dude.
