#11 van mijn #52wekenproject / #52weekschallenge. Dit is Renee, het #pietje van mijn grootouders. Hij is een #gehandicapt #vogeltje. Hij mist een pootje. Ondanks dat, fluit hij vollop. Yeah... It’s just a shame I haven’t slept on the night of a big exam....

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the best cat that has ever existed. However, I learnt the hard way that a student house just cannot have a cat. The initial three owners gave up on him and I decided to choose what was best for him, a stable home. I find myself sitting here this Friday night, crying because I miss the cat. I miss how he let me carry him like a baby and closed his golden eyes when I stroked his little black nose. I miss how he placed his little black paw in my hand when asked  to do so for a treat. I shall really miss how he sat on the rug outside the bathroom always waiting for me while I showered. I miss how he rolled up into a little black ball and slept next to me. I miss how he sat on my stomach when I lay in bed crying. I miss how he bunted my legs every morning and growled like a mini tractor when he ate chicken. Cats are strange creatures. I shall miss Piet.
