"I hear an accent, is it rude if I ask where its from?" If you have to ask if its rude go with your gut and just do not ask. When in doubt shut your mouth! If you have to keep asking someone where they are "originally from" all you're doing is othering them and making them feel like they do not belong where they currently are.   "You're not black enough to be Indian" not sure what to do with a comment like that either since there is literally no logic one can even comment on. "People of Indian nationality are just over dramatic when it comes to pain." Judging a persons pain perception based on their nationality is prejudiced. Oh universe give me strength!
