October 20, and October 21, 2017, were important dates for us as we celebrated getting one year older (ha). We had so much fun at dinner looking back at how amazing God has been to us for bringing us together. The night was so great that when it came to my day on the 21st, it just transcended another level.

I enjoy moments like these where we spend time together. Looking forward to more birthdays and holidays.

Every time you go to sleep, “I die a little inside.” I begin to weep. Oh, how I pray for the day when you would stay, So that we can don’t have to be far away.

Our conversations draw us closer to each other, Like opposite sides of a magnet. This is why I miss all of you and not just a fragment, I’ll say it out loud; my sadness I will utter.

Hearing you tired makes me feel pain, Cause I know you will eventually go. In the short term there isn’t much to gain, But my heart gets fonder, curious, and wants to know.

He wants to know how you feel about leaving, He wants to know if you are grieving. Leaving him alone has caused him sorrow, But he’s anxious to see tomorrow.

Anxious to talk to you again, For he knows that waiting will not be in vain.

His heart leaps when he remembers her face, He then begins to fantasise. He longs to feel her warm embrace, And lock his gaze on her small brown chocolate eyes.

In the dark, cold and lonely night, He misses her when she departs. But he knows that they both have faithful hearts, And they will meet again at morning’s first light.
